Federal Marine and River Transport Agency The Federal Marine and River Transport Agency (Rosmorrechflot) is a federal executive body with government services, state property administration and law enforcement functions in the area of river and marine transport and in regard to fishery seaports with the purpose of developing the transport industry.

The priority areas of Rosmorrechflot’s activities are developing modern and effective infrastructure of the overseas and inland transport, ensuring availability, volume and competitive ability of the overseas and inland transport by cargo-owners’ performance criteria on the level of requirements for innovative economic development; its areas of activities also include integration into the world’s transport field and unlocking the transit potential of Russia, safety upgrade of navigation in ports and boat traffic in the inland waterways.
