Dear participants and guests of the II International Forum «Russian Maritime Industry», let me greet you all on behalf of the Federal Agency of Sea and River Transport!
Currently, the federal purpose-oriented programs related to the sea and internal river transport are intended to boost the upgrade and development of the transportation system in Russia by solving the first priority goals, such as – to develop a modern and efficient infrastructure of the sea and river transport, to raise its competitive advantage, to integrate it into the global traffic environment, to enhance safe navigation at sea and on internal river routes.
To this end, the whole industry should maintain a cooperative integrity with the state and business in a tight contact. This Forum should become kind of a conductor, by creating a favorable environment for the productive dialogue.
While being a showroom for the domestic and foreign shipbuilding enterprises this Forum offers full-scale potential for exchanging knowledge and experience, learning advanced technologies and participating in discussions of urgent industry issues.
I wish success and productive work to all participants of the International Forum «Russian Maritime Industry», which will result in a strong impulse towards new professional achievements and success!
