In accordance with the instructions of I. Sechin, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, № ИС-П4-5812 dated 05/10/2009 and the Minister № МП-39880 dated of 13/01/2009, the head of the Department of the Shipbuilding Industry and Marine Equipment adopted a decision on participation in the Business Programme of the International Marine Forum “Marine Industry of Russia” (MIR Forum) to be held in May, 2010.
MIR Forum is held under the auspices of the Marine Board of the Government of the Russian Federation, Minpromtorg of Russia, Mintrans of Russia, Maritime Committee of the Council of Federation of the Russian Federation, Government of Moscow, EMERCOM of Russia, Rosmorrechflot, Rosrybolovstvo, SC Rostekhnologii, OJSC United Shipbuilding Corporation, OJSC United Industrial Corporation, OJSC Gazprom, PC Rosneft, OJSC Russian Railways, RUIE.
MIR Forum is to take place in Moscow from 19 till 21 May, 2010, at Gostiny Dvor exhibition hall and the Conference-Center of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
A forum of this type is held for the first time ever.
Its main objectives are ensuring support to the state policy for the retrofitting of the shipbuilding industry, assistance in implementing the shipbuilding industry and marine equipment development strategy for the period till 2020 and further.
The programme of MIR Forum provides organization of multi-field exposition and events of the Business Programme.
The basic topic sections of MIR:
- Shipbuilding and ship repair;
- Ship power plants, systems and electrical facilities;
- Ship navigation, control and communication systems;
- Shipboard machinery and facilities;
- Sea and River Ports;
- Waterways and hydraulic structures building;
- Industrial services.
The Business Programme of the Forum provides holding a plenary session “Marine Industry of the Russian Federation”, organizing presentations of enterprises, themed panel discussions and business meetings.
The Department of the Shipbuilding Industry and Marine Equipment of Minpromtorg of Russia invites your enterprise to take an active part in the proceedings of MIR Forum both in the exhibition of developed and manufactured products and the Business Programme.
On the part of Minpromtorg of Russia, OJSC CRI “Kurs” is responsible for organizing events of the Business Programme of MIR Forum in the shipbuilding sector.
In this regard till 20/03/2010, please submit to OJSC CRI “Kurs”:
- your proposals on inviting foreign companies, speakers for the ministries, agencies, Russian regions, commercial organizations and product customers of interest for your enterprise;
- the possibility of speaking at one of the events of the Business Programme (subject, Business Programme event name, speaker’s name, contact info).
