OJSC United Shipbuilding Corporation
United Shipbuilding Corporation, OJSC, was founded in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation #394 On the Open Joint Stock Company “United Shipbuilding Corporation” of March 21, 2007. The headquarters of the company is located in Saint-Petersburg. The state owns 100% of the shares.
The Corporation comprises three regional shipbuilding centers:
- the Western Shipbuilding Center, OJSC (Saint-Petersburg);
- the Northern Shipbuilding and Maintenance Center, OJSC (Severodvinsk);
- the Far Eastern Shipbuilding and Maintenance Center, OJSC (Vladivostok);
and leading design bureaus upon the projects of which nuclear and diesel submarines of various classes, ships and vessels forming the basis of naval strategic nuclear and general purpose forces of the Navy of the Russian Federation and naval forces of foreign powers.
