Acting as Chief Executive of OAO «United Shipbuilding Corporation» R. Trotsenko greeted guests, participants and organizers of International Forum «Marine Industry of Russia»

I welcome the guests, participants and organizers of the II International Forum “Russian Maritime Industry” on behalf of the company OAO “United Shipbuilding Corporation”.
At the moment Russia has three main objectives in terms of implementation of the national marine policy, set forth in the Marine Doctrine of the Russian Federation for a period up to 2020: to research, develop and employ natural resources (mineral and energy resources) of the World ocean, continental shelf and the World’s ocean floor; supporting international trade by marine transport; maintaining security of the internal sea waters, territorial waters, exclusive economic zone, continental shelf of the Russian Federation and of their natural resources.
Implementation of the abovementioned requires sophisticated marine equipment, the construction of which should involve all Russian companies: shipbuilding and ship repairing enterprises, scientific institutions and engineering companies, sea and river ports, shipping companies and professional associations.
The Forum provides all shipbuilding industry companies with an opportunity to demonstrate their best technical solutions in construction and design of marine equipment, to introduce their projects to prospective Russian and global customers and also to take part in the forum events, dedicated to the development of the industry.
Our joint efforts will create the best shipbuilding projects for the benefit of Russia.
Our common task is to advance Russia to the front edge of the global shipbuilding industry.
