I’d like to welcome all guests and participants of the II International Forum “Russian Maritime Industry” on behalf of the State Corporation “Rostehnologii”!
The Forum is a high-profile event of the domestic shipbuilding, and its significance can hardly be overestimated. The main objectives of the Forum are to provide support for the national policy, to upgrade the shipbuilding industry, to protect the interests of Russian enterprises, to develop the domestic shipbuilding. These challenges are totally consistent with the state program on reforming the industry. Goals of the Forum are in line with the activities held by the corporation and intended to provide support to enterprises in the development and manufacturing of high-tech industrial products, in their launching at the domestic and global markets, to promote investments into the sector. The event involves holding of an exhibition to demonstrate the achievements of the Russian and world shipbuilding industries, to provide conditions for advancing Russian technologies to the world markets and for boosting international cooperation in big projects, as well as an extensive business program intended to respond to the most pressing industry challenges. The Moscow forum is the centre place, bringing together all professionals engaged in the maritime industry.
Regular practice to hold the Forum in Moscow, where multi-dimensional interests intersect, where all the conditions favor the dialogue between government and business, riveting the attention from abroad and where the constructive solutions are brought forth, is a great contribution to the revival of the domestic shipbuilding industry and its further development.
