On June 20, the lower rig base of the semi-submersible drilling rig Polyarnaya Zvezda was delivered to the shipyard of Samsung Heavy Industry in South Korea. The transportation over the Baltic Sea, with a pass through the North Sea, and after along the European coastal area through the English Channel, Bay of Biscay and with a pass through the Strait of Gibraltar, Mediterranean Sea and Suez Canal and pass to the Red Sea and Indian Ocean took 42 days.
