On behalf of Norwegian Maritime Administration, Det Norske Veritas issued the Type Approval Certificate for the ballast system from OptiMarin AS. This certificate confirms the system’s compliance with the requirements of the International Convention for the Control and Management of Ship’s Ballast Water and Sediments adopted by the International Maritime Organization in 2004.
