Marine optics seem to be the best example of the navigation technology evolution. Today, both traditional and the latest optical devices are used: binoculars, stereo telescopes, marine binocular telescopes, optical position-finding device, position finders, thermal imagery devices, radars, night optical devices (IR devices) and so on.
Manufacturers from developed countries having long experience in the field of optics occupy the lion’s share of the world and Russian market. This industry has a long history in Russia, too. There are devices of different price brackets on the domestic market.
