The integrated information shipbuilding system

Tronix V is the integrated information shipbuilding system developed by Russian shipbuilding specialists TRONIX is the integrated information shipbuilding system developed by Russian shipbuilding specialists. It was necessary to create this system because a complicated structure of designing, building and operational organizations had been working in Russia during many years. As before, information transfer between all the ship life cycle’s participants is occurred in a paper documents form. Obviously, for effective support all product’s life cycle stages and electronic information transmission a modern information systems are demanded. Tronix system was designed and created like the same system.

Tronix V is the unique integrated application complex in Russian shipbuilding, intended for designing, construction and operation ships support . Conditionally, the Tronix is possible to divide into functional blocks:

Tronix PDM. These are the modules intended for information storage and processing, describing the ship (compartments structure, premises, documents, components, own manufacturing products structure).

Tronix CAD. These are the modules intended for designing various ship subsystems and design specifications creating (the hull, the ship systems, the equipment, the electric system and other design documents based on central methods of a construction description.

Tronix CAM. These are the modules providing manufacture technological preparation based on design information. Labor-intensiveness calculations, a material and a manpower using for each ship-way and machine-building work are made from electronic “know-how” descriptions in automatic and semi-automatic modes. All necessary technological documentation list is formed.

Tronix MRP II. These are the modules providing automatic manufacture schedules calculations, a material and a manpower need calculation of any prospect, a material procurements management, a warehouse account.
Tronix System is developed and functions on Oracle Database.

All Tronix modules are deeply integrated and work with a common database. Tronix is capable to provide the enterprise with the authentic and operative information. It improves economic and administrative company processes, and provides high flexibility and efficiency in development

Tronix system is working at leading Russian shipbuilding factories and in the design organizations.
