Roping Made of Innovative Materials
April 28, 2010
Samson company specializing in rope fabrication started production of innovative 12-thread ropes. The new project labeled as ML-12 is made using Innegra-S (highly elastic polypropene) and Dyneema (highly elastic ethylene homopolymer) fibers.
This combination makes it possible to fabricate lighter and more damage-proof ropes than traditional products of nylon and polyether, which at the same time are affordable.
