ZAO Tranzas Renewed GMDSS Simulator Series

In April, ZAO Tranzas introduced a new version of GMDSS (Global Maritime Distress and Safety System) simulator – TGS 5000.

PC and soft hardware-based GMDSS simulators were developed for training and examining ship specialists qualifying as 2 grade radio-electronic coordinator (REC-2), GMDSS operator (GOC) or limited area GMDSS operator (ROC).

Maintaining all functional capabilities of the previous version (TGS 4100), TGS 5000 simulator ensures complete simulation of new generation Thrane&Thrane radio devices released under SAILOR 5000 trademark (simulation of RT5022 VHF DSC, СU5100 MF/HF maritime radio telephone with built-in DSC, TT-3000E mini-C GMDSS system with TT-3043CP console alarm panel, SP3520 portable VHF GMDSS, AP5065 alarm panel) and AIS-SART by JOTRON (Norway) which since January 1, 2010, has become an alternative to radar SART. Besides, the simulator features renewed shore station base of the electronic chart, improved graphic representation, realized function of prompt aid system disabling and updated self-training section.
