U.S. Coast Guard Deploys TracPhone V7 Satellite Communications

The U.S. Coast Guard is deploying TracPhone V7 system from KVH Industries, Inc., on its vessels. The system operation is based on using commercial satellite services.
The new system features increased bandwidth and complete coverage in the operational area of the Coast Guard vessels.
In addition to TracPhone V7 antenna, terminal stations are delivered with the 24-inch antenna and extra equipment package for maritime communications.
High-speed Internet connections and interference-free communications are ensured by the network of earth stations around the globe with seven communication satellites.
