ZF Marine Group Bow Thruster

ZF Marine Group, designer of shipping propulsive technologies, expanded the assortment of its products by introducing bow thrusters for all types of pleasure crafts.
Patented innovative tapered-tunnel design with five-bladed counter-rotating propellers facilitates thrust augmentation by 20% throughout the whole period of operation, minimizes cavitations and decreases noise level down to 10 dB (A) which is considerably lower compared to that of traditional cylindrical units.
Bow thruster with electronically controlled electric motors are able to maintain thrust for 30 minutes without overheating. The proportional control system ensures accurate maneuvering thus decreasing the battery workload and extending battery service life.
Bow thrusters are compatible with the joystick-equipped control system manufactured by ZF Marine Group.
