OAO Admiralteyskie Verfi (Saint-Petersburg) plans more than to triple output in 2010- up to 23-25 bln. rubles. As communicated by Verfi’s General Director Vladimir Aleksandrov, in 2009 the plant’s output amounted to RUR 6.5 bln, and in the first quarter of 2010 – already RUR 9.5 bln.
According to Vladimir Aleksandrov, the current level of profitability of shipbuilding enterprises does not exceeds 15%. The United Shipbuilding Corporation (OSK) work outs cost optimization issue for shipyards affiliated to it.
