The Ten Thousandth Satellite Communication Terminal

In November, 2007, Thrane&Thrane started production of SAILOR – ship satellite equipment INMARSAT FleetBroadBand. In June, 2009, the product line consisting of FleetBroadBand 500 and 250 was supplemented by SAILOR 150 FleetBroadBand designated for small ships and yachts.
And in 2010, a milestone – ten thousandth – FleetBroadBand terminal embedded into 19 inch stand was made. It was delivered to Telemar company engaged in delivery, maintenance and repair of IT and navigation equipment of leading producers. The device is to be installed at the motor-ship of RICKMERS (Germany). All the ships of RICKMERS (more than 100) will be equipped with INMARSAT SAILOR 500 FBB.
