Krasnoye Sormovo Shipyard plans to increase the speed of construction up to 9 ships in 2011

According to Vadim Malov, Chief Executive Officer of MNP Group, which manages Krasnoye Sormovo Shipyard (Nizhny Novgorod), they plan to increase the speed of construction up to 9 ships in 2011. The shipyard is expected to construct 7 tankers of 5,530 DWT of the project 19614 for Volga-Flot Tanker and 2 tankers of the new project 19900 for Sommet Finance. MNP Group ascertained that they had a complete stock of orders for 2011, which was larger than that in the previous years, when the shipyard had constructed 7-8 ships a year.
