All Seaports of the Leningrad Region and the Lead Saint-Petersburg Harbor Merged into a Single Structure

All seaports of the Leningrad Region and Big Port Saint-Petersburg have been merged into a single structure — Administration of Russian Ports of the Eastern Part of the Gulf of Finland.
All together, six port administrations are planned, such as Kaliningradskaya, Northern (Murmansk being base port), Far Eastern, Southern and Caspian as well as that of the Gulf of Finland. Their task is assumed to comprise ice escort, navigation safety, search and rescue operations, coordination of emergency response team activities. To this end, 50 rescue vessels are to be constructed and divided between these administrations.
