Nizhegorodsky Teplokhod is to Perform State Contracts with Rosmrorechflot for RUR 930 mln. in 2010

According to official papers of OJSC ZNT, in 2009, Nizhegorodsky Teplokhod (Nizhny Novgorod Motor Ship) Plant, OJSC (ZNT, Bor, the Nizhny Novgorod Region) and the Federal Marine and River Transport Agency (Rosmorrechflot) concluded a series of contracts for construction of four inshore diving boats for the amount of RUR 929.95 mln.

As per information available, the cost of 2 A-160 project diving boats to be constructed under the contract with Rosmorrechflot dated July, 2009, amounts to RUR 494.95 mln. The delivery is to take place in August, 2010.

2 other inshore diving boats are to be delivered in November, 2010. The corresponding contract was concluded in December, 2009. It price is RUR 435 mln.

As previously reported, boats under construction are to provide diving support for submarine engineering works conducted on depth down to 60 meters and with sea state up to 3, and for participation in salvage and rescue as well as ship-raising operations. Besides, these boats are to be used in water area floor investigation, sunk objects, underwater ship (vessel) hulls and hydraulic engineering structures.

Diving boat cruising radius is up to 50 miles under air temperature from +25 to -25°C and water from 0 to +16°C. The crew strength is 3 persons, the number of divers is 5.

The authorized capital of Nizhegorodsky Teplokhod Plant amounts to RUR 60,335 thousand and is divided into 75,42 thousand of preferred and 226,255 thousand ordinary shares with nominal value RUR 0.2 each. 39.99% of ordinary shares are owned by the Federal Agency for the Administration of Federal Property (Rosimuschestvo), 57.39% – Delta-Volga Group (Saint-Petersburg).

For 9 months of 2009, ZNT net profit amounted to RUR 19.41 mln.
