NWSC Completed Cargo Fleet Repair

The North Western Shipping Company (NWSC) completed all necessary fleet repair to ensure successful export-import transportation during future inland waterway navigation.

During inter-navigation period, were repaired 12 motor-ships of project СТК used in timber cargo transportation from Volgo-Balt ports to Scandinavian ones, 5 motor-ships of project CT used in equipment and construction material supply to the shelf of the Barents and Kara Seas. There were repaired tugs and barges for oversized cargo delivery to the shelf of the Caspian Sea.

9 interim overhauls and 8 scheduled dockings of river-sea-going ships of project Sormovsky, Volgo-Don, and Omsky, used in year-round transportation o metal, grain, fertilizers, and scrap metal in the basins of the Black, Mediterranean, Baltic and North Seas.

Repair works were carried out at Nevsky SSP and Voznesensk ROB (Leningrad), affiliate ship-repair enterprises of the shipping company, and at repair facilities of Astrakhan, Rostov, Izmail, Tuapse and Kaliningrad.
