Governor of the Primorie Territory Held a Meeting Dedicated to Construction of Fishing Vessels in Bolshoy Kamen

On August 3, 2010, within the scope of the working trip across the territory Sergey Darkin, the governor of the Primorie Territory, held a meeting dedicated to construction of fishing vessels at Zvezda Far Eastern Shipyard in ZATO Bolshoy Kamen.
Sergey Darkin said: “We have reached an agreement in principle with our large crediting organizations to finance heavy-tonnage fleet at Far Eastern shipyards. The project is to be launched in the coming year, so that our fishing fleet to be renewed within in the next five years”.
Zvezda Shipyard is capable of building two types of vessels: an ultra-large trawler under Wartsila project and trawler under Elomatic Polska Sp project.
The first vessel is designated for fishery and processing of aquatic bioresources in any area of the World ocean and features trawl and pound net fishing. The second one is designated for trawl fishing and processing of aquatic bioresources in the Sea of Okhotsk and Bering Sea.
