Shipbuilding Plant “Lotos” Launched a Tanker Hull Ordered by a Dutch Company

On site of the Astrakhan Shipbuilding Association OAO “Shipbuilding Plant “Lotos” (affiliate of Caspian Energy Group), a tanker hull being constructed by order of Messrs Westerkade Shipping BV (Netherlands) was launched. According to the press-service of Caspian Energy Group, the tanker aft will be towed to the staple of Astrakhan Shipbuilding Association (OOO ASPO, affiliate of CNRG Group) to be jointed with the fore. The tanker hull is made of certified A ship steel under surveillance of Lloyd Register. The ship is to be delivered in this May.
The overall length is 135 m, beam – 17.25 and depth is 6.22 m.
