Stable Demand

May 28, 2010

Analysts of IA Trade.Su commented upon shipbuilding, shiprepair and shipboard equipment auctions for the period from May 12 to May 27, 2010. Over 80 bid packages were traded at open tenders. The demand is still at a good level.

High buying activity can be observed in the Far Eastern (22 contracts), North Western (23 contracts), and Central Federal Districts (16 contracts). Other regions (Southern, Volga, Siberian, Urals, and North Caucasus Federal Districts) only offered from 1 to 8 bids. It should be noted that the Far Eastern and North Western Federal Districts have left the Central one behind.

Unfortunately, there were no large contracts announced: relatively small contracts within 5 mln rubles prevailed. These are contracts for running repair of floating crafts, purchase of missing parts and units, procurement of combat equipment.

Maximum bids were offered for two following tenders. The North-Eastern Border Administration of the Coast Guard of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation offers the right to conclude a state contract for repair and maintenance of ships and shipborne equipment. Altogether, 17 lots were offered for the initial price of RUR 114 mln. Bid 7766847.

The Federal Service for Defense Order of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation ordered servicing and maintenance as well as scheduled operations for Navy auxiliary vessels to be performed at basing sites. 2 lots for RUR 63,551,400. Bid 7858541.
